About Me

Hey all, James here. You’ll find random ramblings about my life and what I think about the world here. I suppose if you’re reading this you know me, but if you don’t, here’s a short bit about who I am and what I do.

I’m from Miami, Florida. I deal with a whole lot of areas, however my main passion is music. I’ve been a musician most of my life, having started playing piano at the age of four. Recently I’ve picked up guitar, and really haven’t looked back. I also play a bit of bass here and there for some of the recordings I do.

My dream: Get a band together and start playing local joints, then hopefully move on to bigger places and make music my life.

I’m currently an employee of the University of Miami, in the department of Telecommunications. I do quite a bit of programming work there, but I can’t really talk about what I work with due to my employment contract – and I don’t exactly feel like getting fired. But, to be general, I work with the authentication and management side of the network. At one point I was planning on doing a computer science degree and getting into game development, but honestly, I’m not too enthused about that idea anymore.
